Apps and online resources to support your caring role / Apps for dealing with online legacy

Carer Apps

'Our Care Journal' is an app that has been developed to support the complexity of the caring role.

Leonie Sanderson and Simon Lowe from The Ageing Revolution and Tara O’Connell from The Diary Apps have developed the 'Our Care Journal' app.

Supported with an Advancing Queensland: Age-Friendly Communities Grant in 2017-18, Our Care Journal boosts the wellbeing of those being cared for and caregivers themselves.

For more information and to download the app visit the Our Care Journal website or visit the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ourcarejournal/.

LifeTec has put together a list of apps that may be useful to carers. It provides an insight into the range and types of apps and online resources that are currently available and helps you imagine how we could look at new apps and tools that are useful for patients, families and carers. Apps include those that can help me track my pain, organise support and care or manage my medicines

Gather my crew

Gather My Crew helps people get the right kind of support from their friends, family and neighbours. Gather My Crew is a registered Australian charity.

We believe in a world where everyone going through a tough time is surrounded by the support of their own community. People want to help. They just need to know how. We have created an online help roster that makes it easy to coordinate offers of practical support whether dealing with an illness, surgery, accident, new baby, divorce or an ageing parent.

For more information email   or visit the website  www.gathermycrew.org  or facebook facebook.com/gathermycrew.
