The forums targeted peer networks in local areas and connected them with government services such as Local Area Coordinators, NDIS, Department of Health and Human Services and local Council. This capacity building enabled peer leaders to establish connections with stakeholders in their communities, raising their awareness of the opportunities to develop innovative solutions to problems faced by the members of their peer groups.
